Their tartar sauce seemed to be homemade to a degree, as it had bigger relish chunks than I was used to. Was tasty. Could be a con for some, ymmv.

They offer sweet potato fries as a side which, for me, is a big plus.

My biggest complaint was my haddock sandwich having a variety of cheese that didn't mesh with the fish at all. I think it was American? Ironic bc they're named after the nearby fort used by us in the revolution. But it didn't work for me at all. Definitely wished it had a milder cheese. The rest of the sandwich was fine, though.

Slow service, but kind staff. The dishes were pretty sloppy, but they taste great. Get the wings.

Wish we could rate better as service was friendly... but service was very slow, food was poorly put together and just not appealing or good overall. The back room is dark and has little to no view, request a front table if making reservations. Cash only.

Cons: Greasiness can be overwhelming on the appetizers.

I dont eat meatballs but they were apparently very good.

Pros: Homemade cheesecake is out of this world, seriously. One of the best I've ever had. It's less "sticky" than a lot of other cheesecake, melts in your mouth, and the cranberry walnut is just tart & savory enough without overpowering the sweetness.

Short version: This review's more like 3 and a half stars, and it'd probably be 4 if my sandwich had any other kind of cheese on it. Cheesecake is like 5 stars, though. Seriously, if you don't save room for their cheesecake you're missing out.

Quaint little place, very diner-like, full of older locals. Sweet and accomading staff, and the food came quick. They take check and cash only and I didn't see an atm in there. Menu had food stains/crumbs under the laminate, not a terribly good first impression there.

The best place in the united States to eat

The great chicken wings where under cooked and rubber plus fried mushrooms and two beers where only 35 dollars I would drathier eat out of their dumpster
